2. About Mera Bazaar
Mera Bazaar is a hyperlocal marketplace that connects customers with local kirana stores for home delivery. We are a technology platform only — we do not sell products directly. All products are sold by independent shopkeepers registered on our platform.
3. Eligibility
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have a valid Indian phone number
- Must provide accurate information
- One account per person
- By registering you confirm eligibility
4. User accounts
- You are responsible for your account
- Keep your OTP confidential
- Notify us of unauthorized access
- We may suspend accounts for violations
- One account per phone number
5. For customers
5.1 Ordering
- Browse shops and place orders online
- Cash on Delivery (COD) only
- Prices shown include all charges
- Minimum order amounts may apply
- Orders subject to shop acceptance
5.2 Delivery
- Delivery by shopkeeper or their agent
- Estimated times are not guaranteed
- Must be available to receive delivery
- Delivery to address provided only
5.3 Cancellation
- Can cancel before shopkeeper accepts
- After acceptance, subject to shop policy
- Repeated cancellations may result in account suspension
5.4 Refunds
- Report issues within 24 hours
- Refund decisions at our discretion

6. For shopkeepers
6.1 Registration
- Provide accurate shop information
- Submit valid business details
- Approval required before going live
- We reserve the right to reject applications
6.2 Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate product listings
- Honor all accepted orders
- Maintain food safety standards
- Accept orders promptly
- Deliver within promised time
6.3 Prohibited
- Listing counterfeit products
- Price manipulation
- Fake reviews or ratings
- Providing false information
- Multiple accounts
6.4 Commission and payments
- Currently no commission charged
- Terms may change with 30 days notice
- COD payments collected directly by shopkeeper
7. Prohibited activities
Users must not:
- Create fake accounts or orders
- Abuse the OTP system
- Harass other users or shopkeepers
- Use the platform for illegal activities
- Attempt to hack or disrupt the platform
- Scrape or copy platform data
- Post false reviews or misleading information
- Violate any applicable Indian law
8. Platform availability
- We do not guarantee 100% uptime
- Maintenance may cause downtime
- We are not liable for losses due to downtime
- Features may change without notice
9. Intellectual property
- Mera Bazaar name and logo are ours
- You may not copy our branding
- User content (reviews) stays yours
- You grant us a license to display your reviews on the platform
- Shop logos/banners remain yours
10. Limitation of liability
- We are a marketplace platform only
- Not liable for product quality issues
- Not liable for delivery delays
- Not liable for shopkeeper conduct
- Maximum liability limited to order value only
- Not liable for indirect damages
- Not liable for force majeure events
11. Dispute resolution
- First contact support@merabazaar.in
- We will try to resolve within 7 days
- Unresolved disputes go to arbitration
- Governed by the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996
- Jurisdiction: Haryana, India
12. Termination
- You can delete your account anytime — delete your account here
- We can suspend accounts for violations
- Serious violations result in an immediate ban
- Order history is retained per our privacy policy after deletion
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in courts of competent jurisdiction in Haryana, India.
14. Changes to terms
We may update these terms with 30 days notice for material changes. Continued use means acceptance. Check this page regularly.
